There is no help for us,
listen to our cry,
people are facing much suffering now,
listen to men, women, children, and all tribes,
rise up and come to our help, hear our cry.
Refrain:
Listen to our cry Lord
Every day and night Lord,
We are still oppressed by powerful men
You are the only one God who can help us
We are your people and you are our God.
There is no help for us,
listen to our cry,
rice kyats, and freedom to worship and learn
medicine, confidence, these are our great needs,
rise up and meet our needs, Lord hear our cry.
