There is an obscure little prayer that is becoming well known in the
Christian community called the Prayer of Jabez. It is found in the
book of 1st Chronicles 4:10. I am truly beginning to believe that one
of our greatest regrets when we stand in the Presence of God
on the other side will be the recognition of the power of our little
prayers. I believe we will stand in awe and wonder and sadness
"If only I knew the power these little prayers held, how much more
I would have prayed!"
"Oh, that You would bless me indeed,
and enlarge my territory,
that your hand would be with me,
and that You would keep me from evil,
that I may not cause pain!"
Pray this prayer for yourself and for those you love and those you have trouble loving. Let the Blessings of God fall upon you.
Heavenly Lord, We are so very mindful of your love and sacrifice. Allow us each one to be touched by your hand and come into the fullness of your presence that we might be filled with faith, power, and awe. Thank you for the majesty of your spirit and the intimacy of your love. In loving gratitude we pray. Amen.
