So many of the decisions that we have to make in
life can bring great stress. We want to make the
correct choices. We want to know that we are
headed in the right direction. But sometimes it seems
impossible to know and peace is illusive.
The following verses from scripture and song can be of solace to us in times like this.
I sought the Lord and he heard me and delivered me
from all my fears.
Psalm 34:4
Ask and it shall be given you, seek and ye shall find,
knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
Luke 11:9
But let all those who put their trust in thee rejoice:
let them ever shout for joy, because thou defendest
them, let those also who love thy name be joyful in
thee.
Psalm 5:11
The joy of the Lord will be my strength. He will uphold me all of my days. I am surrounded by mercy and grace. The joy of the Lord is my strength.
