Truly Lord we are like cups.

We come in all sizes, shapes, colors and conditions. We have sharp edges, thick edges, chips. Some of us are sturdy, some fragile. We fill up with stuff that does not provide us with nutrition or quench our thirst. We came together, emptied ourselves and waited upon you, the Lord our God, for filling.

Today our cups are filled. Filled with satisfying things and sending out the rich aromas of your love.
