While driving through rural country roads trying to find a short cut from one city to the next, it occurred to me how fortunate I am to have a "built in" compass in my car. It has made driving in unfamiliar places so much easier. As long as I know which direction I need to head, I can follow the compass and it always leads me where I need to go.

It further occurred to me how blessed I am and we all are to have an internal compass in our heart. God. When we allow ourselves to look at God as the compass of our hearts, we will always be led in the direction that our life's journey must take us. It is comforting to know that when we don't know where the road is going, we can rest assured knowing that when God is leading, we are most certainly heading in the right direction. We can enjoy our respective journeys this day by first consulting our heart's compass.
